Daniel K. Marvin is a partner at the Law Offices of Sherwood & Marvin, APC. Raised in the Central Valley, Dan learned the value of hard work, grit, and honest dealings early in life. He combines deep roots in the local community with an analytical, marketing-driven approach to transactional law, business entities, and generational estate protection.

Dan focuses his practice on comprehensive estate planning, complex trust administration, Tulare County probate navigation, business law, and real estate transactions. He is highly specialized in California elder law and Medi-Cal asset protection planning, helping local families protect primary residences and agricultural property from long-term nursing care costs.

 

Business and Agricultural Roots

Before practicing law, Dan spent over two decades as a Central Valley business owner. After graduating from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business with a degree in Marketing, he returned to his roots and spent twenty years owning and guiding Exeter Auto Supply in Exeter, California. Managing an agricultural-corridor business gave him first-hand insight into the unique operational, succession, and asset-protection challenges faced by local family businesses, farmers, and landowners. He brings this practical business acumen directly to his legal counsel today.
