Mr. Sherwood grew up in Oakland, California. He is a graduate of Claremont McKenna
College (B.A. Cum Laude, 1981). Immediately upon College Graduation, he was awarded a one year California State Assembly Fellowship. Thereafter, he graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (J.D. 1986). Mr. Sherwood was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1986. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the Tulare County Bar Association (Past President. He is also a member of the Tulare-Kings Counties Estate Planning Council (Past President).

Mr. Sherwood's law practice emphasizes Estate Planning, Business Planning and
Transactions; as well as Probate and Trust Administration. Additionally, since 2007, the Tulare County District Attorney/Public Administrator has contracted with Mr. Sherwood to provide services to the people of Tulare County as the Deputy Public Administrator.

Mr. Sherwood is well known and active in the community. He is a member of the Visalia
Host Lions Club (Past President), a long time member of the Board of Directors of the Visalia
Emergency Aid Council (Past President) and is the former President of the Board of Directors of the Ruth Wood Open Arms House.

Mr. Sherwood is married and they have two grown children with families of their own. He
enjoys time with all of his family, especially the grand kids, time in the mountains, travel and a good book.
